Charlie took up art in 2016 after moving to North Wales.  He initially worked with watercolours but then discovered acrylics.

With a passion for creativity, he utilises various mediums to create captivating and thought-provoking artworks. From watercolours to multi-media, his goal is to evoke emotions through the art. Each piece is uniquely crafted, representing Charlie's vision and perspective on the world around us.

Charlie is constantly surprised by the ever- changing landscape, not just around his home but around the world too. It is this change that inspires fresh work and does not allow him to settle in any one style.

Exhibitions

Charles has exhibited across North Wales including Oriel Brondanw, Rowen Art Group's Annual Exhibition and in Rhos Gallery. His work can be found in private collections across the UK.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
It usually takes 2 to 9 business days for the parcel to arrive, depending on its destination & local customs.
CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?Sure, I will usually provide you with a tracking number

WHAT IF THE ARTWORK ARRIVES DAMAGED? If your artwork arrives damaged, you can either refuse the shipment or you can have the delivery company mark the shipment as 'received damaged'. Please take photos of the damaged parcel and artwork and contact me by mail with the pictures at charlie_myart@hotmail.com. I will provide you with the return address where to ship back the damaged artwork.

RETURNS & ORDERS

I do accept returns on all my original paintings. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return it within 14 days, no questions asked, and you will be fully refunded. You will need to send the painting back to Rowen in the original packaging and cover the cost of return shipping and insurance.
PRIVACY POLICY
The e-shop on the website www.artbycharlie.co.uk artist based in Conwy processes personal data provided by you, the "Customer", to fulfill and additionally confirm Terms and Conditions, to process electronic orders and shipments and for the necessary communication during a period required by law.
General provisions
1. Personal data controller, in compliance with GDPR (hereinafter referred to as "Regulation“) is Charles Hawkins based in Conwy

3. Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.
The source of personal data
1. Controller processes personal data obtained with consent from the Customer and collected through the contract to purchase, and fulfilment of, the electronic order created in the e-shop www.www.artbycharlie.co.uk
2. Controller processes only the identifying and contact details of the Customer which are necessary for the fulfilment of the contract to purchase;
3. Controller processes personal data for the shipping and accounting purposes and for the necessary communication between the contracting parties for the duration required by law. Personal data will not be made public and will not be transferred to other countries.
Purpose of data processing
Controller processes personal data of the Customer for following purposes:
1. Registration on the website www.www.artbycharlie.co.uk in compliance with Chapter 4, Section 2 of GDPR;
2. For fulfillment of the electronic order created by the Customer (name, address, e-mail, telephone number);
3. To observe law and regulations arising from the the contractual relationship between the Customer and Controller;
4. Personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of contract to purchase. Contract cannot be concluded without the personal data.
Duration of personal data storage
1. Controller stores personal data for the period necessary for fulfilment of rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between the Controller and Customer and for the duration of 3 years following the conclusion of contractual relationship;
2. Controller must delete all personal data after the expiration of the period required for the storage of personal data.
Recipients and processors of personal data
Third parties processing personal data of the Customer are subcontractors of the Controller. Services of these subcontractors are indispensable for the successful fulfillment of the contract to purchase and processing of the electronic order between Controller and Customer.
Subcontractors of the Controller are:
  • Shipping company; DHL
  • Google Analytics (website analytics);
Rights of Customer
In compliance with the Regulation, the Customer is entitled to:
1. The right of access to personal data;
2. The right to rectification of personal data;
3. The right to erasure of personal data;
4. The right to object to processing of personal data;
5. The right to data portability;
6. The right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data in writing or by e-mail sent to: charlie_myart@hotmail.com ;
7. The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in case of suspected breach of the Regulation.
Security of personal data
1. Controller declares to take all technical and organizational precautions necessary for the protection of personal data;
2. Controller has taken technical precautions to secure data storage spaces, in particular securing access to computer with a password, using antivirus software and performing regular maintenance of computers.
Final provisions
1. By placing an electronic order on the website www.www.artbycharlie.co.uk the Customer confirms to be informed about all the conditions of personal data protection and accepts them to the full extent;
2. Customer accepts these rules by ticking the checkbox in the order purchase form;
3. Controller can update these Rules at any time. New, updated version has to be published on his website.

What is ArtbyCharlie’s return policy?
Returning an item couldn't be easier. If you're not completely happy with your artwork, you have 14 days from the date you received the piece to request a replacement or return.
  • The artwork arrived within 14 days of your request
  • The artwork is in its original packaging and in the same condition as it arrived
  • You must pay only returning shipping fees and insurance
How do I request a return?
To request a return or a replacement, simply:

  2. We will give you full information details for shipping back
  3. no question asked!
If the unthinkable happens and your artwork arrives damaged, please follow the returns process outlined above. Some detailed photos of any damage sustained would also be really helpful. If you can manage to retain the original packaging, that would be great too!
What happens next?
  • You will be fully refunded the artwork value and initial shipping costs within 24-48 hours after the artwork has been collected by the courier
  • Alternatively, if you have requested a replacement, the seller will ship your new artwork as soon as they receive the original piece.
